About the author

My name is Anton Borts. I am a social worker and spent more than ten years working with people facing addiction. I hold a bachelor’s degree in social work and am completing a master’s degree in psychology.

In my work and projects, I focus on how people understand their own experiences, notice conflicting wishes and find ways to make sense of what is happening in their lives.

I create digital tools for self-understanding and psychological education. One of them is LifeMap AI: a project that lets people represent meaningful aspects of their lives on a visual map and look at them from the outside.

Another area of my work is education about addiction. On addictionhelp.org.il and my YouTube channel, I discuss addiction-related issues and explore situations and questions faced by people with addiction and those close to them.

Psychological Theatre continues my interest in clear, accessible ways of talking about complex experiences. Here, short dialogues between two characters serve that purpose, giving viewers a chance to recognise something of their own.
